Libraries are among the last non-commercial spaces where people from diverse backgrounds can gather to share, grow and learn. But in today’s digital world, their online presence matters as much as their IRL one. But libraries aren’t digital natives and as they try to leverage the tools of the online world, they generally end up creating highly transactional spaces that lack the sense of community that their physical counterparts foster.
With a suite of software products designed to transform a public library's essential online services into a platform of community experiences, Bibliocommons tasked The Garden with the challenge of developing a brand strategy and identity to communicate their core benefit: humanizing the online library and bringing the power of community to some the world’s most important digital spaces.
Love Your Online Library began the company's tagline and rallying cry and we brought it to life alongside an unexpectedly fresh, approachable logo and visual identity. Bibliocommons now stands way out from the generic look and feel of their competitors in the SaaS space. The new brand informed their website redesign, corporate collateral, sales materials and the cheerful backdrop for their tradeshow booth.
