Environmentalism has gone mainstream and thank goodness for that. Yet, while studies report that most of us say we care about sustainability we’re not always making purchases that align with our stated values. Whether it’s because environmentally-friendly products tend to cost more, or because we’re concerned that we have to compromise on performance in order to take care of the planet, there’s an inherent challenge in selling sustainable products.
Evoco is a Toronto-based bio-foam manufacturer. They’ve developed a foam insole that is made of 77% renewable plant-based material that’s better for the planet than alternative poly-fillers. We gave their product a name that tapped into the collective goal that drives purchases of planet-friendly products – that by doing so you’re taking steps to change the future and to ultimately, put the fate of the world into your own hands…or shoes. We designed and built them a brand new website to help their tell and their story, making it easy for their target audience (buyers at international footwear companies) to make the right choice for both for the environment and their consumers.
Today, Fates is changing the green category as well as the fate of the planet across the globe with sustainable manufacturing in Asia and new distribution deals in North America.
